Aunty, are you the Holy Mother's, colored half-sister? Your magic is unrecognized but real! Ah, let me alone for awhile, okay? I am not myself. I am a mess.
Mourning Aunty
Officer, it after church, where is you goin’? You not ready for carnival? I thought you wanted was for I to put on a ratty kerchief and make you a stack of pancakes so you can say, ‘Aunty, thank you, you does sweet like cane syrup.’ Law Pickney, I talkin’ to you! Tell me, is you runnin’ from the Holy Ghost? Haaaaaaah! But it mussa move you so. Boy you tickle me. You tickle me. I well sweeted because you runnin’ from you heart. So, what? You lookin’ for some brothel-tail now to sweat off all you clean? Or is you goin’ back to school to read up on dem big fooly science? Get with these times dem, Officer. This is 1492. Our ship ain’t even come into DOCK!

Goatwaterstrip - single panel Goatwater comics in black and white, much like you'd find in a newspaper. I create most of these with pen, pencil, ink and sometimes black and white paint. Every Tuesday you can continue to expect a full color painting from the Goatwater series plus most weeks I'll add one or two Goatwaterstrips in black and white.
