Goatwater - Page 29 - Transcript - When You Are Broken, Kiss A Starfish

Mourning Aunty

When parts of us end up broken, the best starfish to kiss for you and me is a pregnant, unmarried starfish banished from its Mother-Sea. Sister, when you are broken, kiss a starfish, a pregnant starfish, carrying a starfish child. If the starfish you kiss is not pregnant, then a return to wholeness can take awhile. When your dear Constellation Hector kissed a virgin starfish, his bones remained in disarray. When he kissed a pregnant starfish, he became whole again and remains so to this day! If you cannot find a pregnant starfish, Sister, in the meantime ride Hector’s starkissed bones with your whole half-heart, but bear in mind that when you are done riding Hector the pieces of you that came together will once again fall apart. Sister, I beg you, when you are broken, you might as well kiss a starfish, a pregnant starfish, carrying a starfish child. If the starfish you kiss is not pregnant, then your return to wholeness can take a good, long while.
